By no means to I belittle the time and effort that has gone into all of you work but being that there is 30+ in-game sets to be had and leveling is fairly easy, so I propose a revised set of armor sets. This would have the focus on collecting particular sets rather than the mass variety afforded currently. Each of the 2nd option per suggest you'll notice has higher base values, and this is because these are to be made of non-safe enchantable materials. I feel that these suggestions will really have people playing in their own niche ways. New Armor Set Suggestions.xlsx (16.97 KB) - Bruiser and Paladin are structured for melees: Knights, Royals, Dragon Knights
- Assassin and Rogue for Dark Elves, Elves
- Sage and Mystic for Mage , Illusionists
- Vanguard and Magi for ALL CLASSES (LV 70 Requirement)
If these suggestions were to adopted, I would also consider an OMNI set for 75+ Users that combines values from the previous mentioned sets, but at reduced values.

I like this idea! I would like to modify it a little, with your help.
Since Tier 3 has all those sets (DK, Ken, Cerenis), I was thinking of making those ONLY dropped by their boss counterparts, and have mobs drop weaker versions of it (such as what you're proposing on new sets so it's not like there's 30 different sets to choose from). I would, however, need help to know what name you would like to use for them. Such as:
Currently: Tier 1 = Quest set (already in game) Tier 1.5 = Ancient armor (already in game), Boss killer (bapho chest, beleth boots, crystal gloves) Tier 2 = Illusion, Caspa + Dark Elder, Dark Elf, Burning, Wet Tier 3 = DK, Ken, Baranka, Demon, Cerenis, Tarak, Kurtz, Boss Killer 2 Tier 4 = FID, Crystallized, Red Shadow Tier 5 = Legendary Dragon Slayer
Purposed: Tier 1 - 2 leave alone Tier 3 = K/DK/R, E/DE, M/ILL sets (need names for them, make weapons for them as well) Tier 4 = leave alone Tier 5 = New hunting zone with mobs, weaker than the legendary dragon slayer set (need names for them, make weapons for them as well)
ALL 1H Sword
K/DK/R 2H Sword Chain Sword
E/DE 1H Bow 2H Bow Edoryu Claw
M/ILL Wand (1 handed) Staff (2 handed)

I forgot to mention that these sets are interchangeable from the mentioned classes per each group. IE: Bruiser used by Royal,Knight, Dragon Knights and Paladin Set the same. All these sets would be 55 lvl requirement.
From what I'm interpreting, you propose using these aforementioned sets in place of T3 sets? Is so, that would be good. I think as far as weapons go, they shouldn't have such an increase in stats/attributes above reason. I can gather a few examples and have their suggested reincarnations posted and we can implement a paradigm regarding the revamping of these items.

My new Idea is:
Boss Tier is 1 tier stronger in strength to promote boss hunting, will change loot tables to work better with it. All tiers will have a loot pouch for it for adena at Orim. Regular sets will be a 50% for gear, 25% for adena, 25% for either clears, aclears or blank scrolls. Boss tiers will work as above, with a much lower rate for gear. 50% adena, 40% for either clears, aclears or blank scrolls and 10% for gear.
Purposed: Tier 1: ALL = Quest sets
Tier 1.5: ALL = Ancient sets BOSS Tier = Boss Killer 1 (Bapho chest, Beleth boots, Crystal Gloves)
Tier 2: K/DK/R = Bruiser E/DE = Rogue M/ILL = Sage ALL = Sentinel (Wet set) BOSS Tier = Illusion
Tier 3: K/DK/R = Executioner E/DE = Assassin M/ILL = Mystic ALL = Vanguard BOSS Tier = DK, Cerenis, Baranka, Ken, Demon, etc
Tier 4: K/DK/R = Fidelity E/DE = Red Shadow M/ILL = Crystallized ALL = Elemental dragon armor set
Tier 5: ALL = Dragon Slayer set BOSS Tier = Legendary Dragon set

For the boss Tier 3, Make the bosses that would drop the armor drop it. All other T3 bosses drop a pouch that has a chance to give it(the pouch should have all the T3 boss sets in one so it makes hunting the bosses that actually drop it more worth it).

Rather than lower end pots in the loot bags, why not things such as mugwort rice cakes (mp restore) and rabbit livers. These would be less detrimental to a players psyche when opening a "losing" bag...IMO

If anything, I'd replace the clears with rabbit livers, but I thought they healed the same as a clear?
